Putting a cat, who does not travel well, into a car that is already packed with stuff is an interesting experiment. She did OK once we moved her litter box off the floor of the car. She spent the last 10 hours of driving just sitting in her litter. Not once did she use it for something other than a napping place though. I'm a bit worried that she didn't eat, drink, or mess all day.
But that's her hiding behind the passenger seat, next to Chris' suitcase.
